The Data Scientist will have responsibilities focused on several areas:
Provide support in the design of health care research and evaluation projects.
Data Collection and Analysis
Engage in data cleaning, coding, and recoding as necessary.
Develop and implement analytical schema for complex primary (e.g., survey) and secondary (e.g., Census, medical claims) data.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of data collection activities.
Summarize data through various tabular and visual modes.
Conduct and interpret multivariate analyses examples, including regressions with various distributions and duration models.
Lead development/writing of project-related reports, standard operating procedures, presentations, and fact sheets, including providing data tables or other graphics that summarize findings.
Lead in the preparation/presentation of documents for submission to clients or other parties.
Assist in research and writing of proposals and performing other related activities.
Required Education & Experience
Applicants should possess one or both of the following: Master’s or doctoral degree in social science, business, science, or related field.
Minimum of 6 years of experience and training in social science, business administration, statistics, or science.
Applicants should also possess the following:
Experience in technical support and analysis of complex programs, processes, and procedures.
