Econometrica provides data scientist support services to the U.S. Small Business Administration’s (SBA) Office of Inspector General (OIG). Our team provides artificial intelligence/machine learning, auditing, investigative, and other services to support and assist SBA in achieving its mission to maintain and strengthen the Nation’s economy by protecting the interests of, and assisting, small businesses, families, and businesses to recover from disasters. The SBA OIG utilizes large volumes of data to perform its auditing and investigative mission sourced from within SBA, other Federal agencies, and private-sector indexes. To facilitate the work of OIG, Econometrica’s analysts and data scientists work to find new features of these data and unlock their value to identify potential fraud, waste, abuse, and other program integrity challenges. Further, we support OIG in conducting extensive data preparation, management, and manipulation, and data mining through APIs and ETL pipelines.
