As the monitoring contractor, Econometrica supported 33 Tribal Injury Prevention Cooperative Agreement Program (TIPCAP) grantees in 9 IHS Areas. Econometrica provided technical assistance and guidance in program planning, development, implementation, evaluation, and reporting. In addition, Econometrica provided training, promoted knowledge sharing, and conducted other skill-building activities to improve program capacity and injury prevention program sustainability.

As a subcontractor, Econometrica assists with development of identification methods and measurements for analyzing Part D Plan-generated healthcare in the Medication Therapy Management initiative. We collect data from plans and provide access to a panel of technical experts. In addition, we collect, process, and resolve Part D model-related complaints to support the aims of the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services.

Under the Improving Medicare Post-Acute Care Transformation Act, Econometrica is developing comprehensive training plans and content; planning and conducting national trainings (online and in person); and facilitating webinars for CMS’ Post-Acute Care program at long-term care hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, home health agencies, and inpatient rehabilitation facilities. Our trainings support CMS’ mission of aligning measures across settings (including hospice) and training providers.

Econometrica developed guidance materials to assist public housing agencies to implement HUD’s new requirement for a smoke-free policy. The materials developed for HUD’s Office of Public and Indian Housing include a guidebook, factsheets, Microsoft PowerPoint presentations, webinars, and a digital resource library. Most of these materials are now available on HUD’s website: https://www.hud.gov/program_offices/public_indian_housing/programs/ph/phecc/smokefree. Econometrica is currently finalizing a methodology to evaluate the experiences of PHAs implementing their smoke-free policies.
